PATIENCE BIMANYA KINENGYERE
Ophthalmology & Public Health | Health Systems & Research
Patience is a medical doctor and public health specialist with extensive experience in clinical care, health systems strengthening, research, and programme implementation.
Her work covers eye health, non-communicable diseases, research design, and monitoring and evaluation.
She adopts a systems-thinking approach to improving service delivery, enhancing research quality, and translating evidence into practical public health actions.

DAN BWONYA
Ophthalmology | Eye Health Programmes & Clinical Systems
Dan is an ophthalmologist with extensive experience in clinical eye care, eye health programme development, and public health for eye care.
His work concentrates on strengthening cataract and diabetic retinopathy services, enhancing clinical quality, and supporting training and mentorship within eye health systems.
He provides specialist technical insight into programme design, service improvement, and clinical capacity building

ELIZABETH NAGAWA

Elizabeth is an ophthalmologist with expertise in clinical service delivery, training, and health education.
She supports eye health programmes through clinical knowledge, workforce development, and community-focused approaches to eye care.
She also assists in knowledge translation and professional learning initiatives within AiKA’s work.

DR. VENNIE NABITAKA
Public Health | Programme Management & Grant Development
Vennie is a medical doctor and public health professional with experience in global health programmes, health systems implementation, and Ministry of Health supported initiatives.
She brings strong expertise in programme coordination, grant proposal development, capacity building, and training health cadres, contributing to effective and accountable programme delivery.

HILLARY MUTABAZI
Data Analytics & Digital Systems | Research & M&E
Hillary is a data analyst with a background in information technology and applied data systems.
He supports AiKA’s research, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as digital health initiatives through data management, statistical analysis, dashboard development, and digital workflow optimisation.
His work enhances evidence generation and data-driven decision-making.

Procurement & Supply Chain | Operations & Compliance
Richard is a procurement and supply chain expert with experience in the public sector, financial services, and international organisations.
He supports AiKA’s operational systems, contract management, compliance, and procurement processes, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and value for money in programme delivery.
